AI Themed Reviews 🧠

You can now much more easily create Themed Reviews in Readwise to resurface highlights related to a particular topic or interest.

Themed Reviews has always been one of our favorite features internally and a cult classic among our long-time users. But it previously required a heavily tagged corpus of highlights or a lot of manual document selection. Thanks to embeddings and LLMs, creating a Themed Review is now as easy as entering a natural language topic, like "caring for a newborn" or "applying AI to a reading app" or whatever interest is germane to your personal or professional life.

We hope this lowers the bar so more folks get to benefit from it. Create a new Themed Review here!

And if you prefer not to use AI, no worries! This feature is entirely opt-in and won't access any of your highlights if you turn off the Auto Select Sources option.

(Note that creating new Themed Reviews is currently a web-only feature and isn't available in the mobile app.)
