We know you're getting a lot of emails from software companies responding to COVID-19, so we'll keep ours short and to the point.

Our mission here at Readwise is to help readers get more out of reading through technology. To pursue this mission, we've chosen to bootstrap the company through revenue & subscriptions rather than venture capital & ads.

You've supported us on this journey to date, and for that we're incredibly grateful.

But we recognize that the rapid spread of C-19 and the resulting lockdowns have led to unexpectedly challenging times, requiring that many of us tighten the proverbial belt.

If you've been severely impacted, please let us know (by emailing us at hello@readwise.io) and we'll gladly pause billing for the next 3 months (or for however long this lasts) with no interruption to your account.

Our hope is that through this measure, we can lessen your burden while continuing to help you get more out of reading.
