In this issue
Savoury short fiction from Tomson Highway, Jakob Drud, Kim Harbridge, Hannah Van Didden, Dave Gregory, NRM Roshak and R Daniel Lester. Poetry from Erin Kirsh and Peter Norman. Further adventures of Frankie Ray in The Extra from Mel Anastasiou and a brand new Allaigna novella from JM Landels. Plus the winners of the Bumblebee Flash Fiction Contest and the SiWC runner up, capped off with a chilling tale from Kris Sayer.
Mel Anastasiou writes the Fairmount Manor Mysteries, the Monument Studios Mysteries, and the Hertfordshire Pub Mysteries, available at pulpliterature.com. She won a Literary Titan Gold Book Award and was longlisted for the Leacock Memorial Medal for Humour for her novel Stella Ryman and the Fairmount Manor Mysteries. Look for The Labours of Mrs Stella Ryman, available through online booksellers and at Pulp Literature Press.
In addition to her work as a writer, editor, artist, and publisher, JM Landels teaches swordplay and riding - sometimes both at the same time - at her school, Academie Cavallo, in Langley, BC. She draws on this experience, as well as her time as a rock musician and childbirth educator, to inform her fantasy trilogy, Allaigna's Song. She is currently working on a new series, La Bergère, featuring a shepherdess-turned-spy in seventeenth-century France.
