For the readers who wanted more ...
Return to the world of Allaigna's Song through the eyes of women who came before and after. This collection of standalone stories expands and illuminates the Ilmar, seducing us with mystery and magic from characters both familiar and new.
Readers will delight in magical mischief, ache with lost love, and cheer in triumph as these complex characters find their power. Nuanced and deeply feminist, Ilmar Tales is a collection to savour
JM Landels
In addition to her work as a writer, editor, artist, and publisher, JM Landels teaches swordplay and riding - sometimes both at the same time - at her school, Academie Cavallo, in Langley, BC. She draws on this experience, as well as her time as a rock musician and childbirth educator, to inform her fantasy trilogy, Allaigna's Song. She is currently working on a new series, La Bergère, featuring a shepherdess-turned-spy in seventeenth-century France.
