Masquerade

Everyone wears a mask. Some just crack sooner.

Alexandra and Julian are strangers until they aren't. She's a successful fitness entrepreneur with a crumbling marriage and a husband who stopped seeing her years ago. He's a quiet designer trapped in a career and relationship that both feel like background noise. They meet by chance online, two people searching for connection in a world that asks them to pretend.

What begins as an anonymous message turns into a conversation. Then a confession. Then a spark. The kind you feel in your chest before everything else.

Masquerade is not about villains. It's about people. About what happens when you lose yourself in love, in routine, in silence-and what it takes to get back. Told through alternating perspectives, it explores what it means to be truly seen, the cost of choosing yourself, and the quiet, messy beauty of second chances.

This is a story for anyone who's ever loved too quietly, left too late, or stayed too long. It's about the masks we wear, and the moments that break them.
