Mountain Jack Pike

A ROUGH LIFE BREEDS HARD MEN... AND THEY DON'T GET ANY HARDER THAN MOUNTAIN JACK PIKE!

big, brawling bear of a man, Jack Pike is the king of a vanishing breed of mountain men, and the best beaver trapper in the Rockies! Loud and lusty, rough and randy, he's got all the right tools to survive in the heartless wilderness... and the ones to keep the ladies satisfied! At the annual mountain man "Rendezvous," Jack Pike goes hand-to-hand with an old enemy-the jamboree's "booshway" Dan Fitzsimmons-to defend the somewhat sullied honor of the buxom bride of a participating merchant. And when the itchy-britches missus arrives at his tent to show her appreciation, Pike gets in deeper than he ever expected, especially when the booshway is discovered with a knife in his back. With the stiff fingers of blame pointing at Pike, the big mountain man gets down to rooting out the true killer. And before the convention reaches its climax, Jack Pike'll once again end up on top-in more ways than one!
