Arthur is thrilled to make the Little League team, but worries that he won't be able to play as well as all his friends. At practice he tries hard, but his skills are rusty and he's an absolute klutz. Francine, who thinks she's the best player on the team, wants the coach to bench Arthur. Even Buster's good luck charm (a shriveled up carrot) doesn't help Arthur do better at batting or fielding the ball. As the first game creeps closer - will Arthur be able to show his teammates that they can count on him?

His work has received numerous awards and honors and been widely exhibited in the U.S. and abroad, including in one-man shows. He is also the creative producer of the three-time Emmy Award-winning PBS show Arthur. He has three children and lives with his wife, Laurene.
