Bastille Day: A Story of Love, Loss, and Redemption in the City of Light
Haunted by the past, can he find hope in a city that has seen it all?

Veteran journalist Calvin Jones has spent the last decade keeping his head down, reporting local news in Texas and trying to forget the devastating losses he suffered in the Iraq war. But when an old friend offers him a chance to work in Paris, he seizes the opportunity--only to find that the ghosts of war are not so easily left behind.

In the shadow of the Eiffel Tower, Cal meets Nadia, a brilliant but heartbroken Saudi woman caught in the grip of an arranged marriage. Their unexpected connection offers them both a glimmer of hope--until the world intrudes once more. When a terror attack in Nice forces Cal back into the chaos he thought he'd escaped, he must confront the traumas of his past and decide if he's willing to risk everything for a future he never thought possible.

Told with breathtaking prose and emotional depth, Bastille Day is a powerful novel of love, loss, and the resilience of the human spirit. Perfect for fans of literary fiction that explores the complexities of war, faith, and second chances, Greg Garrett's latest work is a compelling testament to the enduring power of hope.
