- a teaching guide with the National Geography essential element and the standards covered in the section.
- a detailed table of contents with the targeted geography concept for each activity in the section.
- activity pages for individual, small group, or whole class instruction: Includes drawing and writing activities, cut-and-paste, test-prep, open-ended response activities, centers, games, minibooks, and more.
- section review pages that can be also be used as a formal assessment of students' skill aquisition.
