The story of a single sycamore leaf from bud to its death in autumn and how it provides for a future life of another tree.
Andrew Bickerton is a retired English teacher living in Norfolk. He has written and published four other children's books all based on wildlife and the environment. His first book, "LEAF" describes the life cycle of a single sycamore leaf. His second book "BUMBLE" tells how a bumble bee and her pollinating friends campaign against the spraying of crops with chemicals; "WILFRED; the worm who would not wriggle" shows how important worms are to wildlife and nature and the more worms there are the better for everyone; "Wayne Goes Wild" continues from "BUMBLE" with Wayne the wasp getting into trouble and learns that friends are more important than fame.
