Bait Wolf

Coal
I'm the top wolf fighter in the Lunar City Fight League. Thirty wins, zero losses.

That's why I get targeted.

I have to throw my next fight, let the underdog win. That's the only way I'll get my baby sister back from the gangsters who kidnapped her. But things don't go as planned when the bait wolf brought into the ring turns out to be my fated mate.

Ember
This is my last night. I'm sure of it.

I've been kept in a cell for months now, only brought out to stoke the competitive flames of the alphas on their fight nights. I'm a realist; one more fight will kill me.

But when the huge alpha, Coal-The Redwood-Kent sets eyes on me and loses all control of his senses, he doesn't put me in harm's way, quite the opposite.

Coal will stop at nothing to protect me and keep me, even if that means losing everything that matters to him. But that is, of course, if I will let him...

Bait Wolf is the first in a series of dark wolf shifter romances with a focus on fated mates and found family.
