Devilry in Godling Wood

They say you shouldn't go into Godling Wood.

A secret lies at the heart of the forest, older even than the empire that dares to call itself Holy.

These were not always Christian lands.

Years ago, something else walked these woods.

It never left.

Now the forest bears witness to the arrival of Damiano, an accomplished goliard of some repute-though not all of it good. Having exhausted the hospitality of the great lords of his warmer southern homeland, he has come to seek his fortune in the courts of the Holy Roman Empire, perhaps even to win himself a patron.

As he is drawn deeper into the intrigues of Graf Hagen's court, his own skills will come to play a part in unravelling the truth, and he will find himself at the centre of both horror and tragedy.

Drenched in atmosphere and brought to life by an unforgettable cast of characters, Devilry in Godling Wood is a tale steeped in myth and mystery, a blend of the historical, the sublime, and the horrific.
