Kaylee, a magical assassin, made the mistake of falling in love. Her fiancé made the mistake of dying. Her boss wants Kaylee to work through her grief by investigating a new love potion.

Kaylee doesn't investigate. Kaylee destroys. Her boss thinks the job will enable Kaylee to become whole again.
