A collection of fantasy short stories inspired by fairy tales, murder ballads, and memory houses. Four guaranteed happy endings, one ambiguous, and one grim indeed plus the wild "Earl's Dog" never published in print before. Now take seven jaunts into places afar and beyond in this expanded large-print edition.
Combined with imaginative retakes and inventive folklore, Jaunts Afar & Beyond is an exciting blend of the fantastic and creative. Each story is a nod to tales both familiar, and obscure. From the comedy of "Goblin Name Game" to the action and suspense of "Earl's Dog," this collection is a treat from cover to cover. - Chenise Puchailo, Spud Publishing Inc.
