Some truths can't be erased. They can only be recorded.

Audio engineer Marcus Chen has spent twelve years learning to hear the truth hidden underneath every recording. He never expected that skill to expose a murder.

When an anonymous hard drive arrives at his Berkeley studio, Marcus finds something he was never meant to hear: the final sessions of a missing artist, bugged by the people who controlled his career - and, buried in the room tone, evidence of exactly what happened to him.

What Marcus uncovers reaches far beyond one record label. A real estate empire. Organized crime. A police detective on the take. And a producer who talks about murder the way other people talk about a bad business quarter.

Marcus has one choice: protect the evidence and lose everything he's ever known, or stay silent and let the truth disappear along with everyone who tried to tell it.

FREQUENCY is a Bay Area thriller about the cost of listening carefully - and the price of refusing to look away.
