Jitterfly

When pirates steal the Jitterfly and kidnap her closest friend Riann, Captain Vande Horrmin sets off to find both, no matter the risks.

However, the authorities prove reluctant to help and the pirates are led by the mysterious SeaHawk, who keeps one step ahead of the government. The deeper Vande digs, the more she realizes how desperate a situation she's unveiled.

SeaHawk's pirates prove far more numerous and connected than anyone expected - a threat to the stability of the very country.

Vande's last hope to rescue her friend relies on fragments of information that will lead her across the continent to the western shores, where she hopes to find Riann alive - and the Jitterfly intact.

Set in the fantasy world of Mithrire during a steampunk era, Vande navigates twisted politics and intrigue when she'd rather just shoot something.
