Dwarven Berserker

Thorin Ironhand never wanted to be a hero-he only wanted to be enough. Growing up in the shadow of ancient wars and legendary ancestors, he's learned that dwarven greatness is measured not by glory but by grit, loyalty, and survival. But when a new threat rises in the cold dark beyond the mines, Thorin must leave home and confront the legacy of his blood: the berserker's rage that saved his people once, and nearly destroyed them after.

As Thorin trains with outcasts and faces brutal battles, he discovers that being adequate-reliable, steady, unbreakable-might be the most heroic thing of all. Alongside friends forged in fire and family bound by love and loss, Thorin must decide what it means to come home, and whether the work of living is as important as the work of war.

A tale of resilience, kinship, and quiet courage, Adequate is a powerful reimagining of fantasy heroism-where being enough is more than enough.
