Fevered

Macy Gatwick came to Costa Rica chasing a career-making story.

Tracking down reclusive biotech genius Armando Cutler was supposed to be simple: get the interview, expose the scandal, and finally land the journalism job she's fought for her entire life.

Instead, she finds a man hiding from more than headlines.

Living deep in the rainforest beside a roaring waterfall, Armando is brilliant, guarded, and far too tempting for her peace of mind. The closer Macy gets to the truth behind his disappearance, the harder it becomes to remember why she came.

Armando has every reason to distrust reporters, ambition, and especially women who ask too many questions. But something about Macy slips past defenses he thought were permanent.

Now the story that could change her career threatens to change everything else instead.

Because in the Costa Rican jungle, secrets have a way of catching fire.

And some people are impossible to walk away from.
