Behind The Screen

Behind the Screen: A Short Story Raising Online Awareness for Kids

James and Hunter are just two ordinary best friends-racing bikes, cracking jokes, and hanging out at the skate park. But when they download a new chat app "just for fun," their adventure takes a turn they never expected. What starts as silly messages quickly becomes something more serious... and dangerous.

Behind the Screen is a powerful, kid-friendly story that shows how easily online conversations can go from fun to risky-and why it's so important to stay safe, trust your instincts, and talk to trusted adults. Loosely based on real events, this short story is both engaging and educational, making it a perfect tool for classrooms, parents, and youth groups.
