Vengeance III

Nolan leads a 'Search and Destroy' mission out of Nha Trang after reconnaissance aircraft have checked out their LZ and Intelligence reports no NVA or Vietcong in the vicinity. The Huey's skids touch the ground and seconds later heavy shells hit them from an impossible distance. Within seconds, half the squad is dead or dying. They have encountered a new enemy tactic that has lethal consequences for American and South Vietnamese forces.

Before Nolan has a chance to persuade the brass that they face a new and far more lethal threat, he is ordered to lead a sensitive rescue mission inside Cambodia. A group of priests and nuns has been kidnapped and is threatened with execution. The Vatican is howling for action and the White House is howling for action. The need to send a soldier who can fight and a priest who can pray. They send Nolan.
