Nothing but I am

She left the earth as she wished, walking into the ocean while the stars above sparkled in their preciousness. She hoped to join them, to transform into something burning with a power far from here. Her departure may be sad, but it was her choosing, her way to change. Nothing but I Am follows the life of Eleanor through the journal she kept in her final days. It moves through her hopes and dreams, her loves and despairs, and the disturbances that corroded her life. Her death imprints itself on a police officer trying to unpick meaning from her words. A hybrid of poetry and fiction, it marries journal entries with a story of departure.
