Volume 1 of AcademFic, the print edition of the open access online periodical dedicated to publishing fiction by academics. Many academics write for pleasure. Some write to engage the public with realistic and well-informed historical fiction. Some write to use science fiction for philosophical thought experiments. AcademFic is a home for such writing and much more.
