Stepping Stoned

After one of our pool tournaments, Piper invited us to her house. Drinking beer around her coffee table, I accidentally knocked over a shoe box of papers and uncovered a gold mine of the most beautiful poems.Piper taught me to never judge anyone, and never trust anyone until they have proven themselves to you. That night around the coffee table, I knew that I had earned Piper's trust, as I would spend the next year going through her writings and creating her book.Piper changed how I see the world and how I treat others. Her Doc Martin footprint has been forever tattooed upon my soul.
