A single light burns behind a window in the old brickworks building. Outside, Brady waits in his Volkswagen.
A single message from Kalie. "Got a job".
Could mean trouble.
With a history like his, Brady avoids trouble. As much as he can. Sometimes it takes an effort.
But then, Kalie needs him.
A mystery short story that asks the question, 'Can we really trust the people we know?'
From the author of 'Lake Summerfield Incident' and the Cole Wright Thriller series.
