"You know, I have learned this stuff in Sunday school, but it never seemed real to me. More like a story in an old book. But when you see the Word of God in action, when you watch faith change the landscape from ugly to beautiful and meet Jesus in person, then the whole story of the Gospel makes sense!" What if you could meet Jesus in person? Join Charlie as he is given the full armor of God and learns how to battle the enemy in the adventure of a lifetime "It seems so simple," Charlie said. "But it is not simple," Guardian explained. "Remember what you are seeing is spiritual, not physical. What you see in the spiritual realm requires great discipline to remember that it still exists as unseen in the physical realm. Can you remember that at all times God is present with his Holy Spirit, and at all times he is pouring out his power and promise upon you?"
A small-town Michigan girl, Christine Johnson has lived in every corner of the state's Lower Peninsula. After trying her hand at music and art, she returned to her first love-story. She holds degrees in English and library studies and works part-time as a librarian. She feels blessed to write and doubly blessed that two of her manuscripts were finalists for Romance Writers of America's Golden Heart Award. The crowning thrill came when Steeple Hill accepted her debut novel, Soaring Home, for publication.
When not at the computer keyboard, she loves to hike, kayak and explore God's majestic creation. She participates in her church's healing prayer ministry and has experienced firsthand the power of prayer. These days, she and her husband, a Great Lakes ship pilot, split their time between northern Michigan and the Florida Keys.
