COLLECTED (2011-2026)

"Fascinating to watch the development through these stories of an original, wry and dystopic fantasy voice" - Frankie Boyle

From the hallucinatory margins of Scottish fiction comes a career-defining retrospective. Spanning fifteen years of nightmares, time crimes, and transgressive visions, COLLECTED gathers the essential short fiction of Chris Kelso - one of the most singular voices in contemporary cult literature. Blending Beat-generation urgency with body horror, surrealist science fiction, and a grim Scottish wit, these stories map the changing landscape of a restless imagination. Including acclaimed collaborations with Brian Evenson, Carole Johnstone, Laura Mauro, and Gio Clairval, and introduced by author Callum McSorley.
