The Radio Gun-Runners

When Harvard graduate Tom Jones sets sail for Labrador aboard his motor-yacht Miami, he expects a leisurely cruise—until a ruthless gang of gun-runners seizes his vessel off the Newfoundland coast. Forced to surrender his yacht and watch his own ship disappear behind them, Tom becomes an unwilling passenger as Scarface Boston Jimmy and his crew navigate northward, pursued by the British Navy.

A ferocious Arctic storm drives them beyond all known waters, and when the ice finally parts, Tom and the motley crew discover something impossible: a vast opening at the pole leading down into the very center of the Earth. Within this strange new world—where the sun rises in the west and Vikings rule ancient plateaus—Tom must navigate shifting loyalties, outwit murderous rivals, and protect a girl disguised as a cabin boy. But Scarface has grand ambitions for conquest in this lost realm, and not everyone aboard will survive the voyage into the unknown.
