(Lillenas Publications). Relevant, creative, simple-to-learn and easy-to-stage sketches are included in this collection for use in worship services and weekly meetings. These short pieces are perfect for youth groups, but the majority of the scripts will also appeal to adult actors and audiences. There are no limits to how God will be able to use these powerful scripts to minister. Jeff Smith's creative writing style employs such techniques as a human slide show, audience participation storytelling, dramatic readings with audience responses, tandem storytelling, a poem interpreted through the use of dowel rod sticks, and creative reader's theatre and sketches. Sketches run from 2 to 5 minutes in length.
