Stop going to networking events without a plan.
We've all been there. You walk into a networking event ready to make connections, find opportunities, and grow your business-only to realize you don't really have a plan for what happens next.
I Hate Networking Events! gives you a practical, humorous blueprint for changing that.
Drawing on more than 25 years of real-world networking experience, David Wilson shows you how to create a networking-event plan built around what happens BEFORE, DURING, and AFTER the event.
You'll discover how to:
- Show up prepared with a clear purpose and measurable goals
- Focus on the right people and conversations
- Navigate six key areas during the event
- Follow through instead of letting promising connections disappear
- Turn networking activity into meaningful relationships and real opportunities
Whether you're a reluctant networker or a seasoned professional who knows you could be getting more from the events you attend, this book gives you a straightforward system you can put to work immediately.
Don't just attend another networking event. Have a plan.
