Ellie Alexander is a Pacific Northwest native who spends ample time testing pastry recipes in her home kitchen or at one of the many famed coffeehouses nearby. When she's not coated in flour, you'll find her outside exploring hiking trails and trying to burn off calories consumed in the name of research. Ellie loves hearing from her readers and interacting with them on social media. You can find her at: elliealexander.co
A librarian and military wife, Shari Randall lives in a mid-century money pit in Connecticut. When she's not committing murder (on the page, of course), Shari enjoys walking on the beach near her house, traveling, eating the local cuisine, reading, and dancing. When she isn't writing the Lobster Shack Mysteries, she is the Library Liaison for Sisters in Crime.
Parnell Hall is the co-author of the New York Times bestselling Teddy Fay thrillers. He is the author of the Puzzle Lady mysteries, the Stanley Hastings private eye novels, and the Steve Winslow courtroom thrillers. He is a Shamus Award winner, and has been nominated for the Edgar and the Lefty. He lives in New York City.
VIVIEN CHIEN (she/her) was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio where she grew up in a mixed-race home, making for some very interesting cultural experiences. She found her love of books and the written word at an early age while writing short stories about her classmates in elementary school. When she's not writing, Vivien enjoys frequenting local Asian restaurants, frolicking in bookstores, and searching for her next donut.
She is the bestselling author of the Noodle Shop Mystery series, including Death by Dumpling and Misfortune Cookie, which was nominated for the Lilian Jackson Braun Award.
Julia Chapman is the author of the Dales Detective series, which follows the adventures of Samson O'Brien and Delilah Metcalfe as they solve cases in the Yorkshire Dales. Born with a wanderlust that keeps her moving, Julia has followed her restless feet to Japan, Australia, the USA and France. She spent the majority of that time as a teacher of English as a Foreign Language but also dabbled in bookselling, pawnbroking, waitressing and was once 'checkout-chick of the month' at a supermarket in South Australia! Her first series of books, the Fogas Chronicles, were written while she was running an auberge in the French Pyrenees with her husband. Published under her real name, Julia Stagg, the novels are set in that spectacular mountain area. Now, having spent many years wandering, she is glad to call the Yorkshire Dales home, its distinctive landscape and way of life providing the setting for her cosy crime series.
