Maxtla Colhua is an Investigator for the Empire--a 21st century Aztec empire that stretches from one end of what we know as the Americas to the other. Maxtla has tracked down all kinds of killers in the past to preserve his Emperor's peace. But in Aztlan: Investigator For The Empire, he's confronted with a challenge he has never faced before--one that not only endangers the people he loves most in the world but has the power to tear part his entire nation. Join New York Times bestselling author Michael Jan Friedman as he revisits one of his most exciting characters in Maxtla Colhua--and one of his most compelling creations in the imperial state of Aztlan!
