Everly Dupree expected cake and canapés. What she got was murder.

Being Maid of Honor for her friend Patrea's wedding means Everly has a full plate-dress fittings, menu tastings, and one very controlling mother-of-the-bride who's determined to micromanage her way to the altar.

But things take a deadly turn when Everly and Patrea show up to the caterer's tasting party and find the chef face-down in a bowl of frosting.

The cause of death? Poison.

One murder might be coincidence, but when another one of the caterer's clients turns up dead the very next day, Patrea's wedding is hanging by a thread.
