Jason King

A husband, father, and grandfather, Jason King lives in Akron, Ohio, with his wife, Kathy, surrounded by their children, grandchildren, two cats, and a dog.His life experiences have taken him far beyond the ordinary. He served as a U.S. Army officer with the 4th Infantry Division in Vietnam, where he was awarded the Bronze Star. Later, he lived and worked on a ranch in British Columbia, where he broke and trained riding and pack horses, operated a sawmill, felled timber, and ran a trapline deep in the Canadian Rockies. He earned a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Malone University and spent years working in industry. During that time, he returned to college, where a writing tutor helped him discover a talent he had not fully recognized. His work went on to win first place at the Midwest Writers Conference. He later spent more than twenty years operating a training and consulting firm specializing in Aerospace and Defense, working with both industry and the military.Drawing on a lifetime of experiences that span military service, business, the wilderness, and faith, Russ Bloom brings a unique perspective to his writing-one shaped by adventure, perseverance, and a belief that there may be far more to the world around us than we can see.
