Frankie Takes a Holiday

Frankie Styles just wanted a week on the beach while her shot-up cargo ship gets repaired. Instead, she gets a category-five cyclone, a surprise visit from Morgan Cloud (whose real last name is Orr, as in the-family-that-destroyed-her-planet Orr), and an urgent spy mission from her new employers.

Now she's undercover on the Orr family moon(!), pretending to be Morgan's guest while searching for someone the family won't let leave. Between dodging Morgan's mother's suspicions, navigating a world of obscene wealth built on blood money, and keeping her cover as just a simple cargo pilot, Frankie's "vacation" is anything but relaxing.

Perfect for fans of Becky Chambers' Wayfarers series and John Scalzi's The Kaiju Preservation Society-readers who love their space adventures with heart, humor, and a healthy skepticism of the ultra-wealthy.
