"Darrell Schweitzer's fiction shocks, surprises, and delights the reader. He is a talent to reckon with in the genre of Dark Fantasy." -William F. Nolan
In Nightscapes, Darrell Schweitzer offers a remarkable range of dark fantasy, Gothic horror, and strange adventures. A tale of necromancy in nineteenth-century Paris stretches across time and space. Elsewhere, mad visionaries encounter mysterious gods, vampires pursue their sinister schemes, and a con man bluffs his way into the heart of the Ultimate Conspiracy. There's even a sequel to Shakespeare's The Tempest.
By turns chilling, unsettling, and darkly humorous, these stories reveal the imagination of a master storyteller and two-time World Fantasy Award nominee.
