It's the most totally tubular anthology you'll read this year!
The songs of the 1980s will go down in history as some of the most memorable and lasting music in chart-topping history. Whether it's a song from a movie soundtrack or a single by one of the many giant hitmakers, the Decade of Decadence has given pop culture some of the most fun tunes to ever appear on a Walkman.
Now, 11 of the best and most notable crime authors take some of the biggest hits of the 1980s and put their own fresh spin on defining the songs of the MTV generation. Combining a healthy dose of humor with classic crime capers, these authors show what happens when you take some of the most gnarly and bodacious tunes and put a new twist on them that some would say are, like, grody to the max.
Our totally bitchin' lineup includes contributions from Linda Kay Hardie, Steve Shrott, Marilyn Todd, Terese Inge, Michael Bracken, John M. Floyd, Lesley A. Diehl, Sandra Murphy, Shari Held, Joseph S. Walker and Josh Pachter.
