The Trouble with Giraffes

Return to Pet Club, where all are welcome, with the story of a girl and her pet giraffe in this tender picture book companion to the bestselling and acclaimed Strictly No Elephants.

At Pet Club, all people and pets are welcome. But for a girl and her pet giraffe, the trouble is that sometimes they’re more different than they are alike. And a giraffe can’t fit into the treehouse for Pet Club. So the Pet Club members come together to make their club even more welcoming and accessible for everyone. Because that’s what friends do.

Strictly No Elephants has been sold around the world and is heralded as a pitch-perfect book about inclusion. Now, this new companion offers “a kid-friendly look at the multifaceted work that underpins true inclusivity” (Kirkus Reviews).
