Blood Work

Was Ted Bundy responsible for the Broken Heart Murder?

On the same weekend Janet Leigh Lester is crowned Miss Valentine and Queen of the Sweethearts dance, she disappears.

Her car is found abandoned in an empty field.

The inside is covered in blood.

Janet is never seen again.

Four decades later, the case remains unsolved-and John Jordan's father is still haunted by the murder he could never solve.

Now John has one last chance to find the truth.

He has no jurisdiction. No official support. And after so many years, almost no hope of finding evidence everyone else has missed. But this isn't just another cold case. Solving the Broken Heart Murder means confronting the mystery that has followed his father for most of his life-and discovering whether the most notorious serial killer of the era was really responsible.

Because if Ted Bundy didn't kill Janet Leigh Lester, someone else did.

And that person may have gotten away with murder for forty years.

John isn't taking no for an answer.

Can he solve the case his father couldn't-and finally bring a decades-old killer to justice?
