Soul burners and spirit eaters locked in conflict roam a world bleak with the fire of their passage . . .
Blank, a cipher waiting to be written, Nophtha draws spirits into himself, preventing malady and madness but, now, compelled by Empire to hunt down a soul burner named Wite, Nophtha enters into a quest as mad, as quixotic, and as dark as any in the history of literature.
Wite and Nophtha.
Nophtha and Wite.
What separates soul burner from spirit eater?
