As an urban gardener, you might be curious about the bats in your area. Take a moment to observe your surroundings at dusk. Can you spot any bats emerging from potential roosting sites like old buildings or trees? Consider keeping a journal to note your observations. Record the time, location, and any behaviors you notice. This simple exercise can deepen your understanding of these fascinating creatures and their role in your urban ecosystem. Engaging with your environment in this way can offer insights into the biodiversity of your neighborhood and encourage a greater appreciation for the wildlife that shares your space.
