Have you ever watched the day fade, a little surprised by the swiftness of it all? In Susan Coolidge's lyrical poem, "After-Glow," we embark on a metaphorical journey through a single day. As the sun climbs high, casting a bright and hopeful light, the speaker reflects on the changing moods and emotions that color our experiences. But even as darkness descends, a comforting truth emerges. The vibrant afterglow paints the sky, a promise whispered on the wind - a new dawn will surely follow. Immerse yourself in "After-Glow," a poignant reminder that beauty and hope can linger even after the sun sets.
