The heroes are classic alpha males--billionaires, tycoons, sheikhs, princes--all men with great power and influence. The heroines are beautiful, warm-hearted, giving women, whether they're innocent virgins or feisty, no-nonsense vixens. The stories are filled with all the elements of great romance--misunderstanding, betrayal, blackmail, revenge--and, of course, blazing passion, irresistible desire and redeeming love. And to top it off, the settings are glamourous, exotic international locales. These are the elements that make Harlequin Presents such great reading, and you'll find them all in these eight fabulous novels by some of Presents finest authors.
Bundle inclues: Virgin for the Billionaire's Taking by Penny Jordan, The De Santis Marriage by Michelle Reid, Italian Boss, Ruthless Revenge by Carol Marinelli, The Sicilian's Innocent Mistress by Carol Marinelli, The Kouros Marriage Revenge by Abby Green, At the Sheikh's Bidding by Chantelle Shaw, The Tycoon's Very Personal Assistant by Heidi Rice, and The Tycoon's Very Personal Assistant by Ally Blake.
Penny Jordan, one of Harlequin's most popular authors, sadly passed away on December 31, 2011. She leaves an outstanding legacy, having sold over 100 million books around the world.
Penny wrote a total of 187 novels for Harlequin, including the phenomenally successful A Perfect Family, To Love, Honor and Betray, The Perfect Sinner and Power Play, which hit the New York Times bestseller list.
Loved for her distinctive voice, she was successful in part because she continually broke boundaries and evolved her writing to keep up with readers' changing tastes. Publishers Weekly said about Jordan, "Women everywhere will find pieces of themselves in Jordan's characters." It is perhaps this gift for sympathetic characterisation that helps to explain her enduring appeal.
Carol Marinelli recently filled in a form asking for her job title. Thrilled to be able to put down her answer, she put writer. Then it asked what Carol did for relaxation and she put down the truth – writing. The third question asked for her hobbies. Well, not wanting to look obsessed she crossed the fingers on her hand and answered swimming but, given that the chlorine in the pool does terrible things to her highlights – I’m sure you can guess the real answer.
Carole Mortimer was born in England, the youngest of three children. She began writing in 1978, and has now written over one hundred and seventy books for Harlequin Mills and Boon®. Carole has six sons, Matthew, Joshua, Timothy, Michael, David and Peter. She says, ‘I’m happily married to Peter senior; we’re best friends as well as lovers, which is probably the best recipe for a successful relationship. We live in a lovely part of England.’
Abby Green spent her teens reading Mills & Boon romances. She then spent many years working in the Film and TV industry as an Assistant Director. One day while standing outside an actor's trailer in the rain, she thought: there has to be more than this. So she sent off a partial to Harlequin Mills & Boon. After many rewrites, they accepted her first book and an author was born. She lives in Dublin, Ireland and you can find out more here: www.abby-green.com
USA Today bestselling author Heidi Rice used to work as a film journalist until she found a new dream job writing romance for Harlequin in 2007. She adores getting swept up in a world of high emotions, sensual excitement, funny feisty women, sexy tortured men and glamourous locations where laundry doesn't exist. She lives in London, England with her husband, two sons and lots of other gorgeous men who exist entirely in her imagination (unlike the laundry, unfortunately!)
Ally Blake writes warm, wistful, whimsical romance love stories, with over four million copies savoured by readers around the world so far. An ardent advocate for romance literature, Ally delights in sharing her enthusiasm on air, in print, and onstage at festivals across Australia. When she’s not dreaming up happily-ever-afters, you’ll find her sipping strong coffee, cloud-gazing, or relishing in the glide of a dark pencil over really-good notepaper. Winner of a 2024 Romantic Book of the Year award, Ally lives and writes in the leafy western suburbs of Brisbane. Find her at allyblake.com and @allyblakebooks.
