A classic Agatha Christie short story, available individually for the first time as an ebook.

Mystery writer Anthony Eastwood is lured to the crime scene of a faked murder. Two individuals masquerading as police officers arrest him and charge him for murder. As the phoney police officers escort Mr Eastwood home, the true goal of the masquerade becomes apparent.

Agatha Christie

The Detection Club was founded in London in 1930 by a distinguished group of British detective fiction writers dedicated to the art of the mystery novel. Its founding members included Agatha Christie, Dorothy L. Sayers, G. K. Chesterton, Anthony Berkeley, and other leading figures of the Golden Age of detective fiction. Chesterton served as the club's first president, and Christie later held that position for nearly two decades. The Floating Admiral brought together fourteen contributors in an extraordinary experiment in collaborative storytelling. Rather than creating separate stories, the writers constructed a single intricate mystery, each adding new complications while respecting the clues established by earlier contributors. The result remains one of the most unusual achievements in detective fiction.
