Blood Money - A Continental Op Mystery - Unabridged

Dashiell Hammett's "Blood Money" collects two linked Continental Op stories - "The Big Knockover" and its sequel, "$106,000 Blood Money" - into one complete, thrilling novel.

In San Francisco, the Op investigates a massive bank robbery organized by rival criminal gangs. Once the banks are looted, greed and suspicion fracture the alliance. Participants begin killing one another, hoping to secure a larger share of the stolen money, while the Op follows a maze of betrayals, false identities, and shifting loyalties.

Separately, these novellas represent two of Hammett's most admired Op mysteries. Together, they show Hammett - the master of hard-boiled crime fiction - at the height of his storytelling powers.
