Expecting Someone Taller

A mild-mannered Englishman is hurdled into a world of mythological monsters and very real dangers in this classic humorous fantasy. "Recalls both Tolkien's Lord of the Rings and Twain's Connecticut Yankee. . . . An entertaining romp!" —Publishers Weekly All Malcolm Fisher did was run over a badger. Unfortunately, the badger turned out to be Ingolf, the last of the Frost-Giants. With his dying breath he reluctantly gave Malcolm two gifts of power, a magic cap and a magic ring, and made him ruler of the world. Now Malcolm must be on his guard, because with the rings comes a long list of powerful enemies who are desperate to acquire it. "A superb debut. . . . Delightful!" —Michael Moorcock
