A criminal in pursuit…
and a child caught in the cross fire.
During an investigation into her former fiancé’s suspicious death, Reagan Tucker inadvertently becomes a witness to illegal gun smuggling—and the target of a murderer. Fleeing from her armed pursuer sends her into the path of US deputy marshal Coulter Becket. But any illusion of safety disappears when the culprit sets his sights on her late fiancé’s daughter. Now taking refuge at her grandfather’s remote Wyoming ranch, can Reagan and Coulter fend off the approaching gunmen—and keep a child out of a killer’s hands?
