The Gauquelins attempted to show that key astrological characteristics of top professionals could be proved. Were theatrical types, more likely to be born as Jupiter was rising? Were crusty scientists more saturnine? A huge debate took place in the last century, with psychologists, sceptics and astrologers joining in.
