The runes are far more than an ancient alphabet.
They are living powers-keys to consciousness, symbols of transformation, and gateways into the deepest mysteries of the Northern tradition.
Ægishjálmur: The Book of Dragon Runes presents a complete initiatory system of runic magic, weaving together the Elder Futhark, Norse mythology, Draconian philosophy, and practical magical discipline into a coherent path of personal transformation.
Rather than treating the runes as historical curiosities or tools of simple divination, this book restores them to their true role as forces through which the magician may awaken sovereignty, deepen consciousness, and reshape both Self and world.
Within these pages you will discover:
- The Dragon Mysteries hidden within Norse mythology
- The magical philosophy behind the Elder Futhark
- Practical rune magic, meditation, and visualisation
- The Helm of Awe (Ægishjálmur) and operative runic sorcery
- The initiatory path of Odin and Yggdrasil
- Rune-based magical exercises and practical workings
- Methods for developing magical Will and conscious evolution
- The relationship between dragons, runes, and the awakening of the sovereign Self
Drawing upon the myths of Odin, Fafnir, Sigurd and the World Tree, Michael Kelly presents a practical curriculum designed for serious students of rune magic, Norse mysticism, and Western esotericism.
Whether you are beginning your journey into the Northern Mysteries or seeking a deeper initiatory approach to runic practice, Ægishjálmur offers a complete magical path that unites ancient symbolism with modern magical practice.
The Dragon waits within the runes.
Awaken it.
