A local tech startup is making moves in Charlotte's business scene with its innovative artificial intelligence platform.
Designed to tackle inefficiencies in workplace operations, Charlotte-based Itus AI combines advanced AI integration with robust data security to improve employee productivity and offer business leaders valuable insights.
"The modern knowledge worker is buried in the weeds of countless systems and platforms, each demanding their attention," said Joshua Beron, CEO and co-founder of Itus AI. "Our mission is to give employees a seamless, personalized experience that helps them focus on what matters, while also empowering leaders to understand and address key operational challenges."
Beron co-founded Itus AI in 2023 with his cousin, Ari Bailey. By securely connecting tools like Microsoft Outlook and Teams, Slack and Google Drive, the platform aggregates information across systems, creating a unified workspace that prioritizes tasks and fosters collaboration.
Unlike traditional AI tools, which may inadvertently train on sensitive user data, Itus AI ensures complete privacy by engineering a system that delivers organic and continuous chat flows without allowing AI models to train off of companies' data.
Beron said Itus AI aggregates data from multiple systems, helping employees prioritize tasks effectively. At the same time, it generates performance reports that offer leadership teams actionable insights into their operations.
"We're just trying to create an experience that employees want to go back to because it makes them more efficient," he said.
Itus AI operates on a subscription-based model, charging organizations $30 per user each month or $25 per user each month with an annual commitment. The subscription includes quarterly analytics reports that highlight operational challenges and provide recommendations. It's also offering a two-week free trial for local businesses to experience the platform's potential firsthand.
The company prioritizes user satisfaction over cost concerns, ensuring unrestricted access to premium AI models.
"You could hypothetically chat with the best models for 100 hours straight on our platform, and we'll never degrade you," Beron said. "We want people to be able to use the best models as long as they get value out of them."
Through its platform, He said Itus AI has already made an impact.
"We believe operations shouldn’t feel like a black box," Beron said. "By making key data accessible and actionable, we’re giving teams and leaders the tools they need to work smarter, not harder."
