Ensorcelled by the mystical vinyl codex 'a-wop-bop-a-loo-bop-a-lop-bam-boom' at age 8, Andrew Darlington embarked on a lifetime's quest to decipher the magical incantation's profundity, traipsing in not entirely straight lines of zigzag wandering across decades of enchantment. As part of UV Pop, Andrew's own lyrics can be found on the CD See You Later, Cowboy, and a collection of his popular The Eternal Assassin Chronicles have been published by Tule Fog Press (2025). There's also his history of The Yardbirds (2025) published by SonicBond Press, following his books on the Hollies, the Human League and the Small Faces.
